Perfectionist, grammar geek, language lover, creative genius, reformed prescriptivist (who sometimes falls off the wagon), teacher, and couch potato.
Avid reader of suspense and mystery novels, especially those in the legal genre (Cornwell, Fairstein, Scottoline).
After a 26-year legal career, after long hours at the office, after too many years of working for the man, I decided in 2007 that it was time to work for The Woman. Given my passion for reading and writing and languages, I decided to enter the world of freelancing.
I've carved out my niche as a freelancer specializing in ESL (English as Second Language) academic materials and--of course--legal materials. I also enjoy working with writers who are writing their own life stories and memoirs.
